There are no new leash laws in ASRA, the rule has always been:
"Pets must be under control and on a leash no longer than six feet. They must be enclosed in a tent or vehicle at night. "
But, leashed dog rule enforcement has been not a priority. This may be about to change.
During the summer last year, Folsom Lake SRA was reporting about one ER visit a week due to off-leash dog aggression and bites. Folsom Lake SRA is in the same district (Gold Fields) as Auburn SRA.
