Every year, the Tahoe National Forest personnel plans a United Trails Day so the Bicyclists of Nevada County (BONC), WoodsRiders (motorcyclists) and Gold Country Trails Council (equestrians) work on a trail project and share a meal together. Each year, one of the groups are responsible for the meal.
Last year, there were over 75 people involved and they finished their trail project.
This year, the groups will be based out of the Skillman Horse Camp above Nevada City on Highway 20 and the project will be signing and repairing trails near the Omega Rest Area. If you are using the trails in that area, be aware of the work crews.
