The Protect the American River Canyon (PARC) Board and ASRA and FLSRA decision-makers had a productive on-site meeting at China Bar/Oregon Bar on Tuesday, discussing the trail bridge connection to Cool, trail improvements and detailed opportunities for the area.
It was agreed that a detailed plan from PARC enumerating the improvements discussed would be included in the General Plan.
PARC has been meeting with several trail user groups over the past few months (including the largest meeting this past week with over 100 equestrians) gathering support for the trail bridge and associated improvements in the State Recreation areas. All that hard work and support has paid off now that PARC's detailed plan will be included in the new State Parks General Plan.
