For the past seven years, the volunteers of Mother Lode Trails has provided the public, free of charge, a website and Facebook page for daily trail news, alerts and information for Yuba, El Dorado, Butte, Sacramento, Placer and Nevada counties.
Starting in 2023, we have decided that to do a better and more comprehensive job, we are going to concentrate our efforts to Yuba, Placer and Nevada counties. Despite the smaller area, the new coverage area will still be quite large, from the Sacramento Valley up to the highest Sierra mountains around Lake Tahoe.
Mother Lode Trails will leave all the resources and links we have gathered since 2015 in place for the old expanded area. In 2023, we will be providing more in-depth information for Yuba, Placer and Nevada counties.
