Andy Fisher promoted to Placer County Parks Adminstrator

12/29/2016

Picture
"Last spring, John Ramirez retired as Placer County Parks Administrator after a distinguished career of many decades in public service. During the summer 2016, John Ramirez and his daughter hiked the entire 211-mile John Muir Trail to celebrate his county retirement. John is now playing tennis and hiking trails within his own Placer County Parks.

The new Placer County Parks Administrator is Andy Fisher. Andy has 29 years as a senior civil servant within Placer County, everyone is quite pleased with his well-deserved promotion.

Andy Fisher is now deeply involved with the new 2017 Master Plan for Placer County Trails, and the third phase of park acquisition for Hidden Falls Regional County Park.

In January 2017, Andy will be hiring a new Senior Planner within Placer County Parks to replace his former position. The new Senior Planner will be particularly involved with the preparation of the new Master Plan for Placer County Trails, and the Supplemental E.I.R. for the expansion of Hidden Falls Regional Park with its linking trails system leading northwestward into Nevada County.

His contact information is:
