Martis Valley West Parcel project comment period extended

Placer County is extending the public comment period for the Martis Valley West Parcel Project for review of the draft environmental impact report. The original 45-day comment period has been extended to 60 days. The new deadline for comments is Dec. 22, 2015. The Martis Valley West plan would transfer residential and commercial uses from the east parcel of the plan to the west parcel, preserving the 6,376-acre east parcel.
Comments can be sent by mail to Placer County Community Development Resource Agency, Environmental Coordination Services, 3091 County Center Drive, Suite 190, Auburn, 95603; faxed to 530-745-3080; or emailed to Placer County. no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 22.
