At the most recent meeting of the Mother Lode Unit of Backcountry Horsemen, they happily announced their Caples Creek Project has been completed. But, the Forest Service would need to budget about $3,000 a year for maintenance of a toilet and would not do that until they had captured statistics about the usage of the Caples Creek Trailhead.
In order to capture those statistics, users will need to make sure the Forest Service is notified when the trailhead is used.
