With Phase II, the mileage of the trails increased to 22 miles, Placer County had planned to add more equestrian parking as part of that expansion, possibly where the helipad was located. But, the engineers realized that it didn't provide enough parking for the amount of work and expense to convert it.
Instead, there willl be an extension to the existing equestrian parking. SEE DRAWINGS BELOW. According to the Project Manager, this is an increase of about 30%, or about three additional spaces. It should be ready for use at the end of next week, or about November 13, 2015.
In addition to the equestrian specific spaces, the overflow parking is also available for equestrians, space permitting.
