The Auburn State Park Recreation Area has established a webpage where you can access the events that will take place on that park's' trails. CLICK HERE to access that page.
To find out what trail events are happening in ALL our local state parks and recreation areas, you can access the Mother Lode Trails Calendar HERE. The Mother Lode Trails web manager sends and receives emails and web information from almost a hundred individual parks, land managers and event managers, and fills out the MLT Calendar. This complicated process provides all trail users with all events (runs, rides, hikes, races, etc.) that affect our trails, by date. This helps you, the trail user, to have a happy and safe trail experience.
At this time, Folsom Lake SRA, Oroville SRA, and state parks where there are trail events in our coverage area have not taken advantage of this new State Parks web service, but probably will soon. Go to each park's California State Parks official webpage and click on the Park Events tab.
