Reported at last night's Folsom Lake Mounted Trail Patrol meeting, maintenance has cleared the majority of the tree that had closed the Pioneer Express Trail. There remains a snag, but it is safe for equestrians and hikers to use the trail.

Downed tree closes Pioneer Express Trail between Sterling Pointe and Beeks BightA trail user reported a large tree down today on the Pioneer Express which makes the trail impassible on a narrow spot on the trail. The Parks maintenance has been alerted through Park Watch Report.
