Information about the hike: Join us for a hike at our Harvego Bear River Preserve in North Auburn on Saturday, August 13 starting at 8:00 am. Along the trail you will enjoy the scenic views from Bald Rock, an overlook view of the Bear River, hear about the history of the cattle ranch in this rolling oak woodland savannah setting, and learn about the trail expansion plans to connect this preserve to Hidden Falls Regional Park.
Difficulty: Rated as moderate to strenuous with uphill and downhill hiking, uneven ground and rough terrain. This is a 4 mile hike and will take 3-4 hours to complete.
This is a wilderness outing in a natural setting: there are no restrooms, benches, or water available. Please plan ahead and bring what you will need.
