Empire Mine SHP Crews are working hard to remove trees and limbs from the historic area and trails. The most important news is the huge downed tree that blocked and closed Penn Gate Equestrian Staging as been bucked and should be cleared soon. That area will stay closed until they haul it away.
On the trails, there are hanging branches that have yet to fall as well as trees and limbs blocking the trails. It is important that you know and watch for the dangers before you hike or ride.
