After talks with the California Department of Water Resources, the California Department of Parks and Recreation Wednesday announced that Lakeland Trail head is now re-opened, allowing access to some of the trails on the south side of the Diversion Pool. This includes portions of the Brad Freeman Trail and Dan Beebe Trail that are outside of the Spillway construction area.
Trails on the north side of Oro Dam Boulevard near Hyatt Power Plant and the Potter’s Ravine Trail near Spillway Launch Ramp remain closed and will likely be closed until next summer, according to State Parks.
