1. Brown's Ravine
The trail heading towards New York Bridge was in pretty good shape for the most part.
2. Folsom Point
The trail heading down towards Folsom Point is OK as long as you stay on the main trail. Don't head up the off-shoot trails.
3. Spur trail as you leave Brown's Ravine - DANGER
We took the popular trail that is used by many all summer long that shoots off to the left as you leave Browns - it is terribly boggy, horses were sinking up to their knees. We immediately left. It is DANGEROUS FOR HORSES - do NOT go on this trail and be aware there are bogs in other areas.
4. Falcon Crest - Peninsula Loop
It is in good shape if you stick to the Peninsula Loop.
5. Granite area - DANGER
The trails at Granite are boggy and the crevices where the water goes down to the lake are three feet wide.
